DOE Test Centre, Belfast
As
part of the upgrading of the 15 DOE Test Centres in N.Ireland,
PFT Systems undertook the installation of new floor finishes
as part of an 18 month programme. This contract was won
because of our ability to met tight deadlines and work to high
specifications and detailing.
Project Requirements - Hard wearing to resist daily car and lorry
traffic, slip resistant and easily cleaned and resist oils, fuels and other
contaminants. New floors were required to last a min of 15 years.
Project Duration - Belfast DOE Test Centre 11th Sept - 17th Sept 2002
(Overall Project 15 Centres - 18 months) .
Project Size - 1200 m2 (Belfast Centre)
Existing Conditions - Install to both new and old concrete.
Stages - There were 5 Stages
Stage 1 - Preparation
Stage 2 - Priming
Stage 3 - Apply 2nd Coat of Primmer
Stage 4 - Laying Floor Screed
Stage 5 - Apply Top Coat
Materials Used - Remmers MT Primer, Remmers Viscacid Floor Mix Epoxy
Screed & Acolan Sediment Resin Sealer.
