City Airport, Belfast
PFT Systems Ltd have completed major
works at Belfast City Airport, installing joint sealants and
undertaking concrete repairs to runways. All works
were undertaken to facilitate customer requirements for
example at Belfast City Airport work commenced at 10pm and
ceased at 6am to enable the airport to remain fully
operational.

Surface
preparation - Removal of existing joint sealant
materials by reaming out or shot blasting as required.

Joint
sealants - Installation of specialist joint sealant
materials suitable for use in airport environments.

Concrete
repairs - Removal of damaged concrete and repair of
concrete slab.

Concrete
installation - Our new concrete division has developed
methods to apply their expertise to the design and
installation of new runways and PQ apron slabs. PFT
Systems new concrete division completed the installation
of 20,000m2 of PQ concrete apron slabs at the new Belfast
City Airport terminal building.
PFT
are continually developing the services we provide to this
diversified sector. As a result PFT Systems are eager to
include other services to meet client requirements.
