report number 34 (Table 7.2R. 1997 FM2)
Project Duration - 20th Feb - 14th March 2003
Project Size - 1800m2
Existing Conditions - traditional continuous tied
reinforcement over pile caps. Work to be completed in 2
phases.
Stages - There were 5 Stages
Stage 1 - Preparation (Protection of internal finished block
work. Fitting of isolation joint to stanchion and pipe work.
Setting of levels with steel pins on top of pile caps.)
Stage 2 - Pumping of concrete and the addition of super-plasticisers
on site
Stage 3 - Screeding of concrete to preset levels
Stage 4 - Power trowel concrete and application of spray on
acrylic sealer.
Stage 5 - Testing of floor slab by independent experts (Face)
