AIBP Meats, Dublin
AIPB Meats existing 17 year old plant at Ballymun required flooring
upgrades to ensure continued compliance with health and safety standards in the Rep of
Ireland.
Project Duration - 20th Aug - 05 Sept 2002
Project Size - 850m2
Existing Conditions - 2 Areas.
Area 1 - Existing tiles on a sand and cement screed, these screeds had a
high moisture content. A percentage of the tiles were boast and some
are as of tile joints had degraded.
Area 2 - Concrete slab which had an exposed aggregate finish and there
was no DPM present. The drainage channels formed in the concrete were
not free draining.
Stages - There were 5 Stages
Stage 1 - Preparation
Stage 2 - Priming
Stage 3 - Apply of Scratch Coat
Stage 4 - Laying Floor Screed
Stage 5 - Apply Top Coat
Materials Used - MC Dur 1101, MC Dur HTR, MC Dur 1365 HBF, MC Dur 2500
KS and MC Dur 2500 VE.
